# Power BI Consultant

 Full-time Porto (Hybrid) 

## About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Power BI Consultant to develop analytics and reporting solutions for our clients. You will work with business and technical teams to understand their needs, prepare data and create reports that support informed decisions.

This is a full-time role in our Consulting department, with a hybrid working arrangement in Porto.

## Key Responsibilities

 

- Gather business requirements and translate them into metrics, reports and dashboards in Power BI.

- Prepare, transform and integrate data from different sources using Power Query and SQL.

- Design relational and dimensional data models suited to analytical requirements.

- Develop DAX measures and optimise model and report performance.

- Publish and manage content in Power BI Service, including data refreshes, permissions and row-level security (RLS).

- Validate data quality and metric consistency with business users.

- Document solutions and help client teams adopt the reports.
 

## Requirements

 

- Practical experience delivering Power BI projects, with the ability to develop reports and data models independently.

- Solid knowledge of DAX, Power Query and the M language.

- Experience using SQL to query and prepare data.

- Understanding of dimensional modelling, table relationships and data visualisation best practices.

- Familiarity with Power BI Service, data refreshes and access management.

- Ability to analyse requirements, investigate data issues and communicate findings clearly.

- Confidence collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
 

## Nice to Have

 

- Microsoft PL-300 certification.

- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services.

- Experience with data gateways, incremental refresh and performance optimisation.
