## The Challenge

 

Grupo Nabeiro was using the classic version of SharePoint Online, which was outdated, slow, and hard to customize. They needed a modern experience to improve internal communication and content management.

 

## The Solution

 

Avantit built a new SharePoint intranet with Hub navigation, News section, and several custom web parts including Banner, Onboarding, FAQs, Organizational Chart, and Newsletter.

Founded in 1961 by Rui Nabeiro, Grupo Nabeiro grew to become the market leader in Portugal with the Delta Cafés brand and expanded to other businesses and countries.

### Business Challenge

Grupo Nabeiro was using the classic version of SharePoint Online, which presented several challenges: outdated interface, difficulty in utilizing features, slowness, limited responsiveness, heavy layout customization, and inability to create pages from templates. It was the perfect time to switch to the modern experience.

### Solution Overview

Avantit built Grupo Nabeiro a new SharePoint intranet, inclusive of a Homepage, modern branding, and other SharePoint sites. It also included Hub navigation, News section, and custom development.
